The mobile version of Windows 9 for mobile phones, tablets will no longer provide a desktop environment, only provide the modern interface, but still support multiple applications to run the same screen. This version will support the ARM platform for Windows phone phones, tablets, and perhaps Intel Atom architecture tablets.

Windows 9 is designed to improve ease of use and avoid the user-obsessed operational issues that occur in Windows 8. Before its official release, Microsoft will release a public preview version, people familiar with the situation said this fall.
