Many times when you open a shared directory, you are prompted to not have access after clicking on the shared folder. The most common reason to encounter this is because the user name and password you entered earlier are incorrect, causing the problem to occur the next time you open it. Workaround: Run cmd, enter: NET use */del carriage return, and then select "Y", followed by enter: \ \ \ destination IP address \ folder name/user: User name password
then enter. This way, the next time you enter a shared file, the problem is resolved.
