After the preparation is complete, you should now install the domain Active Directory. Experienced users can skip this chapter.
1) install Active Directory
The following interface is displayed when you use the management tool "manage your server:
Click "add or delete function" and continue "Next" until the following screen is displayed:
Select "typical configuration of the first server" and "Next". The following figure shows the Domain Name:
Set the domain name to "myad. local" and keep "Next" until the following screen is displayed:
We use Node0 as the domain controller and DNS and do not access the internet. Therefore, select "no, no forwarding query ". All the way to "Next" until "this server is configured now" is displayed:
Now the Domain Server is installed. Follow-up work is required. Open the "Domain Security Policy" of the management tool and modify the password policy. Otherwise, when adding a domain user, the endless "password does not comply with the policy" prompt will put people into trouble. Since this is only a demonstration, of course, such a high level of security is not required. The settings window is as follows:
Modify the "Complexity Requirement" and "minimum value" requirements.
2) Add a domain user
Use "Active Directory users and computers" of the management tool to add "ClusterAdmin" to cluster installation for cluster management. This user is automatically added to the "Administrator" group when the group is installed.
So far, the domain installation is complete.
