Installing the ubuntu,8g partition on the virtual sub-region is not enough, do not wish to reload, increase the VM partition it! back up virtual hard disc files first
VMware comes with the tool: Find the VMware installation directory Vmware-vdiskmanager.exe, double-click can not open the command line under the line to execute.

To adjust the partition is to add a section after the original partition:
To have 10G, and new points 16-10=6 GB of space out, the original remains unchanged, the data will not be lost.

The Sda3 in this is my new partition, which is not normally added to the area, as shown below

I didn't use the number 3rd before, so I chose number 3rd.

The system can not quickly recognize the new Sda3 so restart, after the start can see if/dev/sda3 exist

Mkfs.ext3/dev/sda3
To go to the home directory under the Extend file, create a new extend file in the home directory, enter the following command in the terminal
sudo gedit/etc/fstab
Add the following content
/dev/sda3/home/extend ext3 Defaults 1 2
Restart, use the parser to see the new partition size
