Workaround: Open the MySQL installation directory and open the My.ini file ( If only my-default.ini file, rename it to my.ini!!! first )

To modify the inside configuration:

[mysqld]character-set-server=UTF8 [client]default-character-set=UTF8 [Mysql]default- Character-set=utf8

Restart the MySQL service after the modification is complete: (right-click to restart)
