2. Installing XRDP

   Use the shortcut key "Ctrl+alt+t" to open a terminal window, enter "sudo apt-get install XRDP"--Enter the root user's password--return--enter "Y" and return, the installation is complete.

4. Installing Vnc4server

   Enter "sudo apt-get install vnc4server"--Enter the root user's password--and enter "Y"--return, the installation is complete.

6. Installing Xfce4

   Enter "sudo apt-get install xubuntu-desktop"--Enter the root user's password--return--enter "Y"--and enter "echo" Xfce4-session ">~/.xsession"--and enter "sudo service xrdp restart"-carriage return, installation complete.

8. View IP Address

   Click Connection information and view the IP address in the Connection Information dialog box

10. Open Remote Desktop Connection

    Use the window key +r to open the Run dialog box and enter MSTSC and enter the IP address of the Ubuntu host--"connect".

12. Sign in to Ubuntu 14.04 desktop

    Select "Sesman-xvnc"-enter "user name and password"-carriage return, successfully login to Ubuntu 14.04 Desktop, now can be remote operation.

Precautions

• This operation is done on the latest version of Ubuntu 14.04, should be similar on the lower version, I did not go to try.
• After the configuration is complete, you will need to enter the correct user name and password before you can log in remotely.
