With the newly installed Komodo edit software, you cannot use the right-click menu item as some other software to open the file every time you edit the file. It is quite easy to add right-click menu items in windows.
1. First, use Windows Regedit to open the registry;
2. Add the new "Komodo edit 6" under "hkey_classes_root \ * \ shell ";
3. Add the new "command" under "hkey_classes_root \ * \ shell \ Komodo edit 6 ";
4. Edit the "hkey_classes_root \ * \ shell \ Komodo edit 6 \ command" item and change its value
"C: \ Program Files (x86) \ ActiveState Komodo edit 6 \ komodo.exe" % 15. Disable registry editing. Right-click the selected file and choose "Komodo edit 6.
You can also modify the following registry file to the software you want to use and then import it to the registry:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 </P> <p> [hkey_classes_root \ * \ shell \ Komodo edit 6] </P> <p> [hkey_classes_root \ * \ shell \ Komodo edit 6 \ command] <br/> @ = "\" C: \ Program Files (x86) \ ActiveState Komodo edit 6 \ komodo.exe \ "% 1" <br/>
