Windows right key does not show shared resolution
Problem phenomenon:
When we want to share a file under window2003, we find the right click folder and there is no "share" option
Solution steps:
First verify: A. Log in to local connection properties as Administrator, B. " File Printer Sharing service is installed
And then:
1, right-click: My Computer-admin-service to check whether the Server service and the Workstation service are started.
In general, it is because these two services are not started, manual start can be done.
Server: Enables this computer to share files, print, and named pipes across the network. These features are not available if the service is stopped.
Workstation: Creates and maintains a connection between a client network and a remote server using the SMB protocol. If this service is stopped, these connections will not be available. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start.
2, start the service
(1) Right-click: server-Start
(2) Right-click: workstation-Start
3, in general, the "sharing" option appears when you right-click, if not yet:
Because Windows system defaults to sharing a hidden ipc$, some right-click menus have "shared" systems, access to Computer Management-shared folders, and double click "Sharing" to see that a ipc$ has been shared. If you delete it, you will find that the "share" in the right-click menu disappears.
There is no "sharing" in the right-click menu of some systems, perhaps using some optimization tools to disable ipc$ sharing. Go to the Computer Management-share folder, double-click Share, and create a new shared folder. You will find that the "share" in the right button menu is back.
The operation is as follows:
Step One: Control Panel-management tools-Computer Management-shared folders, right-click New file Sharing
The second step: click: "Next"
The third step: click "Browse" to select the folder to share, click "Next"
Fourth step: Enter the share name, by default, click "Next"
Fifth step: Select the right, here we choose a second, if there are other requirements can also choose other options.
Sixth step: Success here, click "Off"
Step Seventh: Locate the directory for the shared folder, which can already be displayed as a shared directory
Eighth Step: Right-click the folder, you can see: "Sharing and security" option
Finally: If you are browsing folders on the Web,
For example, we often use: Start-run--192.168.1.10xx, if not, may be related to Computer Browser service.
Computer Browser: Maintains an updated list of computers on the network and provides the list to the computer to specify browsing. If the service is stopped, the list is not updated or maintained. If the service is disabled, any services that are directly dependent on this service will not start.
