· IIS comes with an FTP service that is the safest and does not have a variety of vulnerabilities like serv-u, but the configuration process is also complex.
• This section will implement multiple FTP accounts in a virtual directory, and each account is isolated from each other.

1. Create an FTP site
• When FTP is installed, the system does not automatically create an FTP site, so you need to create it manually.
• Note: "Content directory" does not hold any data, only for login conversion, give everyone Read permission, we store to D:\ftproot
• Set "FTP user Isolation" to "User name directory"

2. Create an FTP account
On start, Administrative tools, Computer Management, Local Users and groups, create users, and belong to the Guests group.
This article takes hwstest as an example.


3. Create an FTP storage directory
• Note: This directory must not be stored in the FTP site "content directory", that is, under D:\ftproot.
We store it in D:\wwwroot\ftpuser and this directory needs to read and write delete permissions to the FTP account you just created.

4. Create an FTP virtual directory
• The virtual directory name must match the FTP account name.
• Set the FTP authorization rules for this virtual directory to "read/write" for everyone

5. Test FTP connection
Download the FTP tool from http://soft.huweishen.com first.
Tested FTP OK.

If you also need to create additional FTP accounts, repeat steps 2, 3, and 4.
If you cannot connect to FTP remotely, the firewall may not be open for Port 21, please refer to my other courses for details.
