In daily work, the saddest thing for a network administrator is to forget the local Administrator account password without an alternate administrator account and password recovery disk.
In the early days of the system, this kind of thing can be solved by using many Windows PE CDs in China at present. However, for Windows Server R2, the simple operation is temporarily unable to resolve the password problem.
However, you can add a local administrator account or modify the Administrator account password by using the command prompt line in the case of bypassing the login by replacing the file and using the workaround method.
How to do this:
One, use the Windows Server R2 installation CD to boot the computer. After the installation image is loaded, enter the language selection screen, at this point, press "SHIFT+F10", open the command prompt interface, enter the partition of the Windows directory (if Windows is installed by default, and use the "system reserved" partition, or D-drive), and set to "windows\ System32 "directory (1).

Second, locate the "Osk.exe" file in the directory and delete it (2).

When you are finished, on the computer from other Windows Server R2, locate Osk.exe, copy it to the current computer, and replace the file with the Cmd.exe modified to restore it.
Note: The normal osk.exe can only be deleted by default and cannot be copied, so copying Osk.exe must first modify its NTFS permissions.
Finally, as time goes by, Microsoft will fix this type of local administrative password modification in the form of an upgrade patch, so it is still advisable to create an alternate administrator account or use a password recovery disk to perform the operation.
