Windows System Setup experience

Have you ever encountered such a situation? Start Windows 2000. After Entering the user name and password, the computer prompts

"Unable to find the configuration file", go to the system and check that the system has been restored to the initial state. This phenomenon may be caused by abnormal shutdown.

Solution:

Check whether an administrator. Bak directory is added to the \ Documents and Settings \ directory of the system disk.

(If it is another user, it is "User Name. Bak"). Now create a new system administrator.

Rename the Administrator directory, change the Administrator. Bak directory to administraotr, and log on again,

Congratulations! solve the problem.

Suggestion:

1. Back up "installation disk: \ Documents and Settings \ User directory"

2. Set at least two "Administrator" users, which are out of date.

3. Do not store large files on the desktop, occupying system disk space.
