Telecom Optical Broadband optical cat usually has four output interface, and one of them is ITV has three remaining interfaces. Many times we need to connect to more than one computer, including mobile Wi-Fi internet access. This time we need a wireless router. How to connect the wireless router to the light-brazing broadband light cat?

Tools/Materials

• Wireless Router One

• Cable two, recommended 3 meters long.

Method/Step

1. Connect the wireless router to the light cat. One end of a network to access the Optical Cat network Port 1 or the network Port 3 or the network Port 4, the other end of the wireless router WAN interface.

2. Connect your wireless router to your computer. Use one of the cables to connect to the non-wired LAN interface and the other end into the computer.

3. The default address for the light cat is 192.168.1.1, so the LAN port of the wireless router needs to be addressed with other network segments.

   Configuration method: Login to the wireless router, IP set to 192.168.2.1 (after access to the wireless router is http://192.168.2.1)

   Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 save.

   WAN Port settings. Set the--wan port connection type by the network parameter--wan port of the wireless router: Select Dynamic IP

   After completing the above steps, you can go online via the router.

4. Now set the wireless internet parameters.

   Wireless Parameters-Basic Settings-ssid: Any name--tick turn on wireless-allow SSID to broadcast-turn on security settings-set your own password.

5. Modify the wireless router login password: System Tools-Modify login password-custom settings.

   Restart the router, wired and wireless Internet access is available.
