Word 2007 Tip: Set a picture to soften edge effects

With the image softening edge feature provided by Word 2007, users can set a soft edge effect on a picture in a Word 2007 document, making the edge of a word 2007 picture more ambiguous, as described in the following procedure:

Step 1th, open the Word 2007 document window and select the picture you want to set the soft edges on.

Step 2nd, in the Format tab of the Word 2007 Picture Tools Ribbon, click the Picture Effects button in the Picture Styles group, select the soften edges option, and select the appropriate soft edge effect in the list of soft edges effects that you open, as shown in the figure.

Tip: If you're ready to cancel the soft edge effect of a Word 2007 picture, you can select the Word 2007 "No soft edges" option in the soft edge effects list.
