Word stops working with the following methods
Method: Double-click to open "Computer" in the upper-right search box to enter "Normal.dot", at this time the Win7 system will automatically search for the name contains "Normal.dot" the name of the file, search results may have a lot of similar files, but you just need to find "C: Usersadministratorappdataroamingmicrosofttemplates "Normal.dot" This file under the path, and then delete it.
Method Two: Open the system to the left of the "Start" button, "search Procedures and Files," enter "Regedit", and then select "Regedit.exe" into the registry;
After entering, find the following:
Hkey_current_usersoftwaremicrosoftoffice12.0word
Hkey_local_machinesoftwaremicrosoftofficewordaddins
Rename the top two folders Word and addins to Word2 and AddIns, and it's OK.
Method Three:
When you open Word in safe mode, create a new document as shown below
The following image appears after Word, and then click "Templates on this machine"
In the Pop-up template box, right-click to remove the template named "Blank Template", click OK, restart Word to open the normal
Method Four:
1. First, close all office related programs;
2, click the "Start" menu, select "Run", enter regedit into the Registry Editor;
3, sequentially expand, find Hkey_current_usersoftwaremicrosoftoffice12.0word
Hkey_local_machinesoftware microsoftofficewordaddins (with Word add-in)
Rename both of these folders Word and addins to word1 and addins1.
