Word2013 Making Business cards Step 1: Start Word 2013 and create a new document, click the Text Box button on the Insert tab, and select the Draw text box option in the expanded Drop-down list, as shown in Figure 1.

Word2013 Making Business Cards Step 2: Drag the mouse over the document to draw a text box, and then on the Format tab, in the Size group, set the height and width of the text box, as shown in Figure 2.

Word2013 Making Business Cards Step 3: Enter text in the text box and set the size and font of the text, as shown in Figure 3.

Word2013 Making Business Cards step 4: On the Drawing Tools-Format tab, in the Shape Styles group, click the Down Triangle button on the shape Outline button, and select the No outline option in the Open Drop-down list to remove the border from the text box, as shown in Figure 4.

Word2013 Making Business Cards Step 5: After you deselect the text box, on the Message tab, in the Create group, click the Label button to open the Envelopes and Labels dialog box, and click the Options button, as shown in Figure 5.

Word2013 Making Business Cards Step 6: Open the Label Options dialog box, select Microsoft in the label vendor Drop-down List, select the business card style you want to use in the Product Number list box, and then click OK to close the dialog box, as shown in Figure 6. Click the New Document button in the Envelopes and Labels dialog box to close the dialog box, as shown in Figure 7.

Word2013 Making Business Cards Step 7: At this point, Word 2013 creates a new document and creates a table in a new document based on the size of the card you set up. Select the text box you created and press the CTRL + C key to copy the text box. Then switch to the label document you created, on the Start tab, in the Clipboard group, click the Down Triangle button on the Paste button, and select the Paste Selective option in the open list, as shown in Figure 8.

Word2013 Making Business Cards Step 8: Open the Paste Selective dialog box, select the picture (Enhanced metafile) option in the Form list box, and then click OK to paste the operation, as shown in Figure 9.

Attention

This converts the text box to an image object and pastes it so that it can be resized without changing the layout of the text.

Word2013 Making Business Cards step 9: At this point, the text box will be pasted as a picture into the cell, dragging the handle on the picture box to resize the picture so that it matches the size of the cell. Then paste the pictures from the first cell into the other cells and resize and position them. Save the document and add the business card to the entire page as shown in Figure 10. When you are done, print the current page to get the business card you need.
