First open the document you want to insert a special page number, right-click in the toolbar blank, select Drawing from the shortcut menu, at which point the Drawing toolbar appears at the bottom of the window, then select Header and footer from the menu, and click the Related button on the toolbar to switch to the footer location, and then on the Drawing toolbar, click AutoShape → Basic shape, choose a shape you like, such as a smiley face.
