Some time ago a friend asked me how to add a header line to the WPS text, he said he used to be in the header in the text below the line tool in the Drawing toolbar to draw a straight line as the header line, it is troublesome, sometimes not beautiful. I'm here to tell you the way I taught him, and I hope it will help you.
The following is a screenshot of the header inserted by default from Word and WPS text, respectively:
The previous screenshot is truncated from Word to see if there are more than one header line in the header. A header with a single header line looks more comfortable, I think.
Next I'll add a header line to the header in the WPS text.
First go into the header editing area, see the cursor flashing in the header editing area, and then click format → border and shading on the menu bar, see figure:
When clicked, the Borders and Shading dialog box pops up, as shown in the figure:
To facilitate the instructions, I added a number to the screenshot of the dialog box that describes the sequence of steps.
When the dialog box pops up, the first step is to see if the "1" on the diagram is applied to "paragraph". If not, select Apply to paragraph, select "2" on the diagram, and click the "Bottom Border" button on the figure "3", where a black line appears on the "4" map. Click OK to add the header line. Look at the picture below, there is a header line:
Here I also want to tell you that this header line can be set according to his other style. See line style, color, and width on the Border Shading dialog box? They can set the line style, color, and line width of the header line. Note that this setup step should be done in steps 2 and 3 of the dialog diagram that is described earlier. Otherwise, if you want to change the line style of the header you've added, you can change the setting on the Border Shading dialog box, and then click the Bottom Border button on the previous dialog Block 3, and then OK. If you want to remove the header line, select the None option on the Border Shading dialog box, and then OK.
My friend no longer need to use the "Straight line" tool pages eyebrow line, hehe:
