If you forget your logon password, follow these steps:
- Press [F8] and select [Safe Mode With Command Prompt] when the computer starts 〕
- After selecting [Administrator], the [Command Prompt] window appears.
- Use the [Net] command to add a user. For example, add the user name alanhkg888. The command syntax is as follows:
Net user alanhkg888/add
- Raise the new user's power to Administrator. For example, raise the user's power of alanhkg888 just now. The command syntax is as follows:
Net localgroup administrators alanhkg888/add
- After completing the preceding steps, restart the computer and add a user named alanhkg888 to the boot screen. Select alanhkg888 to enter
- Log on to the [console] → [User Account] → select the user who forgot the password, then select [uninstall Password] And then [Wait 〕
- Select the original user on the logon screen and wait without a password (because the user has been uninstalled)
- Delete the user you just created, go to [console] → [User Account] → select [alanhkg888], and then select [uninstall account ].
* The password for [administrator] is not applicable when you forget the password for installation.
