Yii controls the width of the dropdownlist/select control and the width of option

Source: Internet

By default,
The width of option is determined by the widest element in options, and the width of the select control is also determined.

In Yii, if you need to customize the select control width, you can use htmlOptions to define it as follows:
<Td colspan = 1>
<? Php echo CHtml: label ('news Source: ', '');?>
<? Php echo CHtml: dropDownlist ('source ',
$ CurrentSelectSource,
CHtml: listData ($ modelSource, 'domain _ hash', 'site _ name '),
Array ('empty' => '-- full --', 'style' => 'width: 200px ;')
);?>
</Td>

If you want to customize the width of the option, you can't do it. You can only write CSS to define it.

<Style>
Form # form option {
Width: 200px;
}
</Style>
