Zabbix_agent for Windows installation process

1, download the software

Download the corresponding version of Zabbix_agent to Zabbix official website

2, directory structure

Upload the compressed package to the corresponding ready to monitor the server, unzip to a location, the question select c:\zabbix_agentd_3.0.0.win

There are two folders in the directory, one is bin, the other is Conf

There's only one file in Win32 and Win64,conf in the bin, zabbix_agentd.conf.

3. Modify the configuration file

Editing this profile with a text editor is best not to use Windows ' own Notepad, because this document is a UNIX-formatted document that does not see line breaks in Windows, and it is recommended to use notepad++.

Note that this hostname must match the hostname on the Zabbix server, otherwise it will not be recognized

4, Installation Services

Go to the Bin/win64 directory and execute it at the command line

Zabbix_agentd.exe--config c:\zabbix_agentd.3.0.0.win\conf\zabbix_agentd.conf--install

–config [conf file] parameter can specify the location of the configuration file, the default location is c:\zabbix_agentd.conf, but it is not usually here, so you need to specify

–install Installing the server

5, start agent

Executing at the command line

Zabbix_agentd.exe--start

–start Startup Parameters

6,ZABBIX_AGENTD Installation Complete
