Xinhua News (Reporter Zhang Yi) China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) announced yesterday, China's submission of the ". China" domain name international application has passed the fast-track review of the Internet name and number distribution Agency (ICANN), which means that the ". China" domain name is globally enabled and has achieved a simplified, traditional equivalent. Cnnic formally filed a ". China" international application to ICANN last November 16, but because of the differences in language systems, ". China" once faced the situation in which Jane has only one application. CNNIC, assistant director of Qilin, said that, if successful, the global Chinese Internet users in July this year can be anywhere in the world through a pure Chinese domain name suffix to access the Internet. Previously, "China" has been used as a national domain name in the domestic trial run, and through ICANN's audit, on behalf of this domain name upgraded to the world's top domain name, global access to technical support.
