Adobe Monday announces full turn to cloud service, offline software stops updating from June

Adobe announced in Monday that the company will be fully diverted to cloud services, turning the profit model for the one-time sale of off-line software into a monthly subscription cloud service model.

The monthly fee is 19.99 dollars for users who are unwilling to use CC's full set of products and only want to use one product.

Adobe's pricing policy shows that Adobe encourages users to use a full range of products.

Adobe's move is likely to deal with piracy and to stabilise its income levels.

Even if the user uses the offline version of the cloud service, it is necessary to make a monthly online registration confirmation to purchase the service. Adobe has been plagued by an annual update to the software that persuaded users to pay for upgrades.
