1, XP settings

Select ADSL dial-up connection, Properties-> advanced->internet Connection Sharing-> and check "Allow other network users to share through this computer Internet connection", home network connection Select "Local Area Connection".

2, VMware Workstation settings

To select the settings for the network adapter in the virtual machine, we choose NAT: Use the shared host IP address and then determine, next we need to set up in the CentOS (Supplemental Note: 8630.html "> Sometimes the NAT mode is not working, you can switch to the bridge way to try!" )

3. Configure static IP in CentOS Linux.

Point main Menu System-> Preferences-> network connection, pop-up "Network Configuration" dialog box, double-click System eth0, for IP address editing, select IPv4 settings.

Address: 192.168.0.21 (except 192.168.0.1 and 255, casually fill)

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Gateway: 192.168.0.1

DNS entry, primary DNS fill: 192.168.0.1

All completed, then click Apply to save.

4. Restart Network Services

In the terminal, enter the following command

Service receptacle restart or reboot Linux.
