The independence and openness of disaster tolerance system are shown in the following aspects: It can support user's existing server platform and future mainstream server platform, can support user's existing storage platform and future mainstream storage platform. For Anhui Mobile, the core data of each business system involves a variety of main storage platforms, which requires disaster tolerant scheme to fully support the user's existing and possible future storage platforms. Symantec's disaster-tolerant solutions provide full support to mainstream servers and storage platforms, especially storage platforms, and Symantec's disaster-tolerant solutions can help users realize the independence of storage platforms, which provides a greater choice for future deployments of new systems. Independent multipath Software (DMP) can shield the differences between different storage devices to ensure that data can be moved online between heterogeneous storage. VXVM unifies the organization format of volumes under different host environments to ensure that data can be flexibly migrated between different host systems. Long-range cross-disk array mirroring Anhui Mobile original disaster tolerance system using traditional hardware replication technology, the hardware platform has a strong dependence on the production site and capacityDisaster sites must use the same brand of storage equipment. After using the storage virtualization scheme, Anhui Mobile disaster tolerance system has broken through the limitation of hardware. With the remote connectivity of storage foundation software and SAN Network, Anhui Mobile can improve the reliability of data system by achieving a long distance cross disk array mirroring between production center and Disaster Tolerance Center. When a disk system in a production center fails or a disaster occurs, the operating system automatically isolates the disk from the production center and then accesses the data in the disaster-tolerant center because the disk in the disaster-tolerant center is mirrored by the disk system in the production center. The business system can directly access the data in the Disaster Preparedness Center disk system through the Metropolitan San network without affecting the business system of the production center. That is, the disaster on the Production center disk system is transparent to the business system, and applications and databases are not stopped because of a failure of the production center disk system.
