at&t SYNAPITC Storage provides an enterprise-class storage service that enables customers to use the AT&T network cloud for data storage, publishing, and retrieval to meet their business or legal requirements. Through a web-based customer portal, customers can specify their storage standards-that is, user policy. The service automatically expands or reduces the amount of storage that users need to pay for the savings they use.
at&t selected EMC as its technology provider in the area of information infrastructure technology and solutions to At&t SYNAPITC storage platforms provide low-level support. Two companies have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to jointly develop and sell the service.
