Beijing time March 3 morning news, according to foreign media reports, Activision Blizzard said in Tuesday, has established a new department responsible for "Call of Duty" series of games, and previously responsible for the series of two senior executives will leave. According to the announcement, Philippe Eure has appointed Philip Earl to lead the "Call of Duty" department. Jason West, the senior executive in charge of the series, and Wens Zampera (Vince Zampella) are about to leave. Earl has previously served as the head of Activision Publishing Asia Pacific, a former blizzard subordinate, and has served at Procter and Gamble and Nestle. He will lead the new development of "Call of Duty" series of games, such as exploring new markets. A day earlier, Blizzard, in a document submitted to regulators, announced that two executives at the Infinity Ward studio would be leaving the studio as a developer of the Call of Duty series. According to Blizzard, the two executives disobeyed the top-level arrangement and violated the contract. Blizzard today appointed new executives to replace West and admire in Infinity Ward. Activision Publishing chief Technology Officer Steve Pers (Steve Pearce) and product director Steve Akrich (Steve Ackrich) will lead Infinity Ward during the transition period. "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" was the best selling game in Europe and the United States last year, according to Blizzard. Janney Montgomery Scott LLC analyst Shawn Mirna (Shawn Milne) said that call of duty was the most profitable series of games to see Blizzard, which sold 15 million copies last year, increasing its profit margin to 60%. "The most important developer turnover is a new risk," he says. The bigger risk is whether the two executives will drive a blizzard of people away. Infinity Ward was acquired by Blizzard in 2003.
