Indeed, the most surprising of ScriptLogic's research data is that so many companies are planning to upgrade to Windows 7 systems. For individual consumers, Windows 7 systems can be automatically acquired as long as a new computer is purchased after October 22. Unlike individual consumers, most business users may not use the new operating system for several years. As one insider in Microsoft said, as many corporate users have already allocated 2009 of years of budgets, we will not see too many companies upgrading their computer systems this year.  He expects sales of Windows 7 systems to peak in 2011, and some enterprise users may not be able to upgrade to the Windows 7 system until 2012 or later.
