Cathay Airlines (00293-HK) has fallen 4.34% per cent to HK $10.58, a deal of HK $1078.69, which was unaffected by the slowdown in air transport and lower oil prices, following a lower market, with the index now down 2.56%. The Hong Kong Air Cargo terminal handled 187,960 tonnes of air cargo in June, falling by 14.4% per cent over a three consecutive month, reflecting a slightly virtuous environment in Hong Kong. In addition, the international oil price last week under the 60 dollar per barrel level, will help ease the cost of airlines, but the stock is now lower, and run away from the city, not buoyed by the positive factors.
