Stat Tiyatien Services, located in Scottsdale, arizona, created the first Stat Doctors Web site using a physical server in 2010. Its founder, accident and emergency department physician and administrator Alan Roga the site to provide proprietary E-health services to patients who are unwilling to enter emergency rooms.
Roga, who now serves as chief executive of Stat Tiyatien Services, said: "We provide virtual room-calling medical facilities so that, whenever and wherever, you can connect patients and emergency rooms with certified physicians through audio and video conferencing." "However, our system-based server disruption can delay patient care, and it cannot be easily scaled up to meet growing demands," he added.
In August 2011, the company teamed up with Microsoft Partner Receptacle's Business & Decision to plan their systems to use Windows Azure Cloud Services. "Our conclusion is that Windows Azure provides more convenient system management and scalability requirements," Roga said, "and we believe that Microsoft is a trustworthy partner, and that the business requirements of Stat Tiyatien services are closely related to Microsoft's technical foresight."
The cloud-based system consulted its first patient in March 2012. "Our initial commitment is to ensure that all patients are visible in 30 minutes," Roga said. "With Windows Azure, the average time a patient has logged on to their doctor is only 8 minutes and there is no service interruption in between."
Due to the success of the Windows Azure solution, Stat Tiyatien Services decided to adopt other Microsoft cloud service as well. "Windows Azure is so superior that we decided to move our e-mail and collaboration systems to Microsoft Office 365, and our customer management system moved to Microsoft Dynamics CRM online." "So not just our products on the cloud, our enterprise apps are on top too."
With cloud services deployed, Stat Tiyatien services eliminates the 170,000 dollar initial investment in hardware and software. Companies have discarded third-party tools from their original systems, saving more than $3,000 a month, and saving large amounts of healthcare for their business customers. A customer, Scottsdale Healthcare, calculated that the 2011 Stat doctors saved nearly 115,000 dollars.
Roga said: "Our mission is to become a patient-centric e-healthcare leader, our main goal is to let patients praise our service," We hope they say I can not believe it will be so magical, I can't wait to use it again. Using Microsoft as our Cloud computing service improves system reliability and makes it possible.
