Evernote announces opening of office in Taiwan

Phil Libin said Evernote's arrival in Taiwan was not about selling things in Taiwan, but that they came here to work with the Taiwanese partners and developers to make the best products. Phil Libin continues to explain that it aims to forge closer ties with the Taiwanese developer community. In addition, Phil Libin also revealed that Evernote Taiwanese users are more active than American users, with average user interaction more frequent.

Evernote will provide a one-year Evernote premium service for 7 million of Taiwan mobile subscribers, according to Phil Libin, which aims to improve the cloud-note experience of Taiwanese mobile users. Evernote Asia general manager Troy Malone says the company is working to work with operators in other Asian countries, especially fast-growing markets such as Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand.
