chmod---&http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/37954.html ">nbsp; Changing the properties of a file

Syntax: int chmod (string filename, int mode)

Description:

Try to change the properties of the specified file filename to become a mod.

Note: This mode does not automatically assume an octal value, so strings like "g+w" will not be operational, and in order to ensure proper operation, you need to add 0 (zero) in front of mode.

Example:

chmod ("/somedir/somefile", 755); Decimal; Probably incorrect

chmod ("/somedir/somefile", "U+rwx,go+rx"); String; Incorrect

chmod ("/somedir/somefile", 0755); octal; Correct value of mode

?>

Success returns TRUE or false returns.

Note: This function does not work on the Windows system.
