Q: Apart from returning to growth, what are your next goals?

A: In the eyes of consumers, e-commerce and retailing are now in the same. It's a shopping thing, isn't it? So you see that we are actively taking steps to integrate into the business environment. ebay's one-hour delivery service is the best example. You shop online, but you receive goods from the offline store. Another example is that PayPal has begun to be accepted by offline marketers.

Q: Working with offline businesses has been one of ebay's strategic principles. This summer, you will be in New York's Kate Beth store. Why is it important to work with these offline businesses?

A: Consumers want a seamless experience. No matter what size of retailer or merchant you are, you must solve this problem. We are working with retailers. They seek technical partners to obtain payment services and E-commerce services. We will never compete with them. In fact, we have become a technology platform different from the retailer, and we will never become a retailer.

Q: You mentioned the day of delivery that you launched last year, so what have you learned so far?

A: We have benefited a lot from the consumer side, first of all, it is not suitable for all transactions, but only part of the deal. Second, when consumers experience it, they love it. Third, they are looking for predictability. From the delivery point of view, we understand that the operation of a delivery market can greatly improve efficiency. You're actually delivering the mobile device, so you don't miss the pickup. If the pick-up man is walking up the street, the delivery man knows where he is.

Q: Are you sure it is economically valid?

A: I think it will become an economical and effective service. There is a large demand for delivery in every city.

Q: Are you worried that Amazon and Google (Weibo) seem to be trying to build their service business on the same day, regardless of short-term economic benefits?

A: A lot of money is not the key to successful innovation. The best innovations actually come from scarce resources. Our investment ability is also very strong.

Q: What are the results of mobile innovation?

A: The impact of mobility on people's lives has begun to show. The next stage of innovation you will see is offline existence. For example, if you are in a store, you can get information about a product through a mobile service, you can also notify the merchant by PayPal check-in service that you will arrive in advance so that when you enter the store, they will entertain you warmly and provide you with personalized service.

Q: One of the reasons for the slow development of mobile payments is that the store experience is not so hopeless. And in many cases, PayPal or other mobile payment solutions to pay more time to spend.

A: After the PayPal mobile payment service was launched, we were able to make a 20 billion dollar mobile payment turnover because the service was both safe and convenient.

Q: When do you plan to work with the largest retailer such as Wal-Mart or Target?

A: We are working with smaller retailers to sum up experience. We do not intend to work with large national retailers for the time being.
