GNOME Commander is a fast and powerful graphics file manager that uses dual-panel file management, primarily for the GNOME desktop environment underneath the Linux system.

The main features of GNOME Commander include support for drag and drop, Gnome MIME type, ftp,sftp, using Gnomevfs FTP module via WebDAV, access to Windows file system via Samba, The ability to extend entries to the context menu calls selected external applications or scripts, automatically installs and unloads devices, built-in file browsers and images, recently accessed folder history and folder bookmarks, and so on.
