GNU grep is a string search tool based on a fast lazy-state matching program that uses complete regular expression matching for text character searches. Search results are many times faster than Unix grep or egrep.

grep 2.10 This version of "CHAR" is no longer a symbolic type system that handles improper bit set mode bytes. Now rejecting the command line may result in an infinite disk fill loop.
