HTC plans to close htcsense.com Cloud backup service
HTC notified users this week that the company's mobile data storage service, htcsense.com, will be closed on April 30, according to the morning News of Beijing time March 27.
The service is still available to enable users to save data in accordance with HTC's guidance. The user can transfer data over the next one months and will be deleted after it is overdue.
HTC said in an open letter that the company plans to innovate on htcsense.com, but before the launch of the new service, Htcsense.com's previous functions will be closed.
Users who want to back up their data can follow these steps:
--Visit http://htcsense.com
--Log in using htcsense.com username and password
--click the "Download" button in the "Account Overview" section
After that, a. zip file containing user data is downloaded to the user's computer
Since htcsense.com primarily provides data back-up and mobile positioning services to users, the company advises users to visit Google Play and find appropriate applications to replace the service.
