Syntax: int mysql_change_user (string user, string password [, string database [, int link_identifier]])

Description:

Mysql_change_user () changes the current user of the line or link_identifier to the non-essential option given. If you have a specified database, this will be a preset or current database when the user changes are complete, and maintain the original user if the new user and password license fails.

Note: This function is introduced in PHP3.0.13 and requires more than MySQL 3.23.3 version
