Inner Mongolia Karamy will build cloud computing center

Xinjiang Karamay Cloud Computing Industry Park is about to start construction. The industrial park project, designed by Atkins, covers an area of nearly 50000 square meters and will provide office space for several software companies.

According to the design side, the main purpose of the design is to create an industrial park which is suitable for the creative industry culture and provides the sharing facilities and social space. Karamay the typical extreme temperature, the lowest temperature in winter reaches attemp, while the highest temperature in summer is as high as 42 degrees Celsius. The modular building will be prefabricated in the factory and assembled on site to minimize the impact of the extreme temperature in Karamay on the construction.

With the help of the Building Information Model (BIM), Atkins has designed modular buildings that, in accordance with China's green building standards, will be the first green building pilot project in Karamay, making the project's future expansion easier and more cost effective.
