It is now easy to install on http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/13835.html ">ubuntu10.10 and 10.04" by adding LibreOffice PPA.

Installation steps are as follows

Step one: delete OpenOffice with commands

sudo apt purge "openoffice*.*"

Step Two: Add LibreOffice PPA in Ubuntu 10.10 and 10.04

sudo add-apt-repository Ppa:libreoffice/ppa
sudo apt update

Step three: Next you can install LibreOffice

sudo apt install LibreOffice

Depending on the desktop gnome or KDE, it is necessary to use the following command:

KDE users:

sudo apt install libreoffice-kde

Gnome User:

sudo apt install libreoffice-gnome
