Intel's strategy is to choose manufacturing, transportation, retail, smart home and building four major industries as the focus of attention, to provide relevant industry solutions, service management, chip networks, data centers and security management, accelerate the development of quark processors, ecological model to attract enterprises to seek cooperation.

To this end, Intel last year made an architectural adjustment for the IoT business. "2C may be more realistic for consumers, but the economic benefits of 2B (to the enterprise) can not be ignored, summed up Intel's advantages, two will go, but 2B may be closer to the company, and in the 2C market will choose and more partners, such as the involvement of customers. Industry fragmentation Challenges

At present, however, the industry fragmentation is still the biggest problem for the overall development of the IoT industry.

Despite the difficulties, the earnings figures are a good start for the internet market. In the third quarter of this year, Intel Internet business revenue grew 14% to 530 million dollars year-on-year, in line with software and services business revenue.
