Companies are moving in cloud

A survey by IDC, a market information company, shows that global companies are increasingly using cloud computing, but there are few "cloud-ready" professionals. IDC surveys the IT managers in more than 600 organizations around the world and the employees they hire. Surveys show that more than 50% of respondents think cloud computing should have high or very high priority. About Two-thirds (67%) of people are planning to use or are already using cloud computing. More than four out of three people focus on security, access rights, and data control issues.

The lack of cloud skill talent is serious

Surveys show that work related to cloud skills is almost always a long-term trend in global it employment. By 2015, cloud-related job demand will grow by 26% per cent a year, compared with the previous year, with cloud-related skill demand growing by 92%. It is estimated that 1.7 million of cloud-related it efforts are not being met in the IT market. This number will jump to 7 million in 2015.

Why is cloud-skilled talent missing so badly?

Why didn't the personnel manager recruit qualified "cloud skills" IT staff? According to the survey, 57% of the department's managers feared that their current staff lacked the skills to use the cloud, and 61% feared the availability of cloud skills in the work area. From the survey, there are three reasons for the lack of talent in cloud computing jobs:

1.53% of the people think that the lack of appropriate training;

2.54% of people think that lack of practical experience;

3.53% of the people think the lack of relevant certification.

In addition, a study in CompTIA called the 2013 IT Industry Outlook (IT Industry Outlook 2013) shows that over the next seven years, by 2020, there will be more than 22% increase in the demand for cross dimension and cloud skills-related professionals. In such a growing demand for professional and technical personnel in the market environment, training will occupy a more important position than ever before.

In order to smooth the implementation of the cloud, enterprises in the next work should be the cloud computing related technology training as an important content, strengthen the training of cloud computing talent.
