Italian-French semiconductor (ST) provides positioning sensor solutions for Windows 8 Tablet PCs

The Italian-French semiconductor (ST), in collaboration with Microsoft (Microsoft), developed a human-computer interface (HID) positioning sensor solution to support the Windows 8 operating system. The MEMS sensor and Sensor module solution for the Italian-French semiconductor will be listed synchronously with Windows 8. Many of the world's leading OEM and ODM vendors have been using semiconductor sensor solutions in the Windows 8 appliance.

The sensor module of the Italian-French semiconductor integrates the 3-axis digital gyroscope, the 3-axis digital accelerometer, the 3-axis digital magnetometer, the pressure sensor and the high-performance STM32 microcontroller, and uses the I²C protocol (inter-integrated incrementally); 3-axis Digital magnetometer built-in environment detection sensor (proximity sensor), microcontroller executable semiconductor Inemo engine sensor fusion algorithm.

Since 2003, Italian-French semiconductors have been providing Windows-supported accelerometers and drive systems to key notebook computer OEMs to protect data from laptop drive systems.
