In April this year, 38 former Infinity Ward employees jointly sued Activision for breaching the contract, not paying them the million-dollar "modern War 2" bonuses they deserved. Recently, they have filed an additional indictment against Activision to create a hostile working environment similar to the "secret police", detailing details of the Activision default on the promise of royalty bonuses. The new charges allege that Activision had "secret interrogation" of Infinity Ward staff and that a security guard was deployed at the office exit in March this year to induce the studio to lead Jason West and Vince Zampella out of the fire. Activision, who paid 40% of the outstanding awards in March, seized another 54 million dollar "ransom" to lure the remaining Infinity Ward staff to continue making "Modern Warfare 3"-a money that would be in the November 2011 "Modern Warfare 3" All productions are completed and listed before they are paid in lump sum. Infinity Ward staff met with Activision CEO Bobby Kotick in late March, and Bobby Kotick promised to pay the remaining bonuses at the end of the month. But that didn't happen. They met with chief financial Officer Thomas Tippl in April and asked to pay the bonuses, but were told to "forget about it". The allegations insist that if Jason West and Vince Zampella are not expelled and if the bonuses are paid in full, they will never resign if Activision does not deliberately create a "high-pressure atmosphere similar to the secret police". Now they have also lowered the amount of compensation paid to punish Activision, which slipped from the initial $500 million trillion to the current 216 million dollars. Jason West and Vince Zampella have filed separate lawsuits against Activision3 months, but they will still seek additional compensation and claim ownership of the "modern War" brand. The August 5 hearing will be held to determine whether all the relevant litigation can be combining trial, Infinity Ward employee's lawsuit effective period expires next year May 23. Activision has not yet commented on the allegation.
