Kailuan shares joint steel enterprise holding coking plant

May 14, Kailuan shares (600997) to the Chengde Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. has been completed and put into production of the first phase of the coking plant and the second phase of coking project as the basis for joint investment in the formation of joint ventures to build and operate the coking project. The proportion of Kailuan shares in the registered capital of the joint venture company is 51%, and the share of the registered capital of the JV company is 49%.　　In the announcement, Kailuan shares did not disclose the amount of capital contribution. Kailuan shares and its affiliates have pledged to supply more than 30% per cent of the total coking coal required to produce the joint venture at market prices, and the JV company has pledged to buy at least 30% per cent of coking coal from Kailuan shares and associated companies.　　In addition, the steel group and the Kailuan stock and its affiliated companies also guarantee the procurement of all Coke products produced by the JV Company and coal tar and crude benzene. The first phase of the coking plant, which has been completed and put into production, is a 2-seat 4.3-meter top-mounted coke oven, gas purification, waste water treatment, such as all the technology, independent use of coking auxiliary facilities, the construction of dry quenching works and land, etc. under construction, the second phase of coking plant of the steel group is 2 6 meters top coke oven, gas purification, dry quenching, waste water treatment, Coal farm and other technology, coking independent use of auxiliary facilities and land.
