Mainland and Macao trade volume of $1.5 billion trillion January-September

BEIJING, November 11 (Xinhua) China's Ministry of Commerce's latest statistics show that the trade volume of the mainland and Macao in January-September this year was 1.5 billion U.S. dollars, down 33.1% year-on-year.　　Among them, the mainland's export to Macao for 1.27 billion U.S. dollars, down 36.9% year-on-year, imports from Macao to 220 million U.S. dollars, up 3%. In January-September this year, the mainland approved a total of 208 Australian investment projects, the year-on-year decrease of 34.6%, the actual use of Australian capital amount of 590 million U.S. dollars, up 28.1% year-on-year.　　As at the end of September this year, the mainland has approved a total of 12,196 Australian-funded projects, the actual use of Australian capital of 8.82 billion U.S. dollars, Australian capital in the mainland accumulated absorption of foreign investment accounted for 1%. In January-September this year, the mainland in Macau contracted projects, labor cooperation amounted to 6,845, the contract amount of 330 million U.S. dollars, the completion of the turnover of 640 million U.S. dollars, September at the end of the number of labor services in Australia 50481 people. As at the end of September this year, the mainland has completed a total turnover of $9.82 billion in Australia.
