Microsoft: Windows Server 8 does not support ARM architecture in the short term

The biggest problem now, Telaim says, is that the Windows server system is written for a 64-bit processor, but the current arm architecture is limited to 32-bit processing technology. Windows Server 2008 no longer supports 32-bit technology for a second upgrade. In addition, running Windows Server on the ARM architecture is no good. Telaim did not say that Microsoft would never consider developing a Windows Server system based on the arm architecture, but said the company does not currently have plans to do so.
