Ministry of Commerce: 56 export products with EU trade relief measures

Cheng, an expert at the Beijing World Trade Center, said that from the statistical results, at present, China's 56 kinds of export products are at the same time "suffer" from the European Union measures, this figure is relatively high in the global view.　　Some of these products have undergone several anti-dumping or other trade relief measures, but after the expiration of the relief measures, the EU has again launched a "Sunset review" and other protection measures, so that the implementation of trade relief measures to extend the period.　　In various EU anti-dumping exports to China, China's shoes have been facing anti-dumping sanctions for nearly five years. In July 2005, the European Union started anti-dumping cases against Chinese leather shoes, and in October 2006 began imposing a 16.5% anti-dumping duty on Chinese leather shoes. In October 2008, after the EU's two-year anti-dumping measures on Chinese leather shoes expired, the European Commission initiated Anti-dumping administrative expiration review in disregard of the objections of Member States, and at the end of 2009 decided to continue to levy a 15-month anti-dumping duty on leather shoes from China and Vietnam.
