OpenSimulator is a multi-platform, multi-user three-dimensional application server platform. It can be used for simulation of virtual environments and is used as a social virtual environment or as a special application, such as visual education and training. It is accessed through the regular Second Life open source browser or http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/11280.html "> third party clients." The service platform has a variety of personal and public deployments, including Osgrid, hosted by independent individuals and organizations in more than 8,000 regions and disseminated on the Internet.

OpenSimulator 0.7.3 Alpha This version adds new features and a large number of bug fixes, including support for running 64-bit processes on Windows, Hypergrid improvements, Ode collision fixes, and neat operation improvements.
