Speed up the boot speed:
In the reregistering 7http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/35019.html > Start menu, enter "msconfig" in the search for programs and files, and return to the System configuration program and switch to Boot tab. In the lower-right section of the open window, modify the default value "30" in the "timeout" column to a smaller number (as shown in Figure 1, which is modified to 5).

When modified, this means that Windows 7 is shortened from the default 30 seconds wait time to 5 seconds when powering on.
Speed down shutdown:
Windows 7 does not provide settings that directly modify the shutdown speed, and users need to modify the registry to implement
Run the registry, expand branches to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control, and then locate and double-click waittokillservicetimeout in the right window. The default value in the pop-up window is "12000", which means that the shutdown wait time is "12 seconds" and you can enter the desired number according to your needs (Figure 2).

After you modify it, save the settings and take effect the next time you log on to the system.
