May 16, a company called Pentiumfund 2¥q took legal action against Intel, asking the court to declare that the company's website could continue to use its company name, which it has been using for 30 years. The Pentiumfund company's application was made to the Eastern District Court of Virginia State on May 12. This application requires the court to determine that Pentium fund is the rightful owner of the pentiumfund.com and pentiumfund.org domain names. The company says it is illegal for Intel to try to take over these domain names under the ACPA domain name. Pentiumfund said in a document to the court that the company was created and existed under British Virgin Is. 's law, and that its main business location was in Geneva, Switzerland, a hedge fund and financial services company that operated for 30 years. Intel filed a complaint with the World Intellectual Property Organization arbitration and Conciliation Center this February, requesting that the domain name be forwarded to Intel. Intel says these domain names are similar to Intel's Pentium trademarks, causing confusion and damaging integrity. The World Intellectual Property Organization arbitration and Conciliation centre ordered Pentiumfund to hand over these domain names to Intel unless proceedings were commenced. Pentiumfund company said in the document that the company registered these domain names when not malicious. Select this domain name because it is the fifth branch of Pentiumfund. Author: Tianhong
