Beijing time November 22 Morning news, Samsung Friday to the United States International Trade Commission (hereinafter referred to as ITC) complaints Nvidia (NVIDIA), hoping to ban its production of computer graphics chips in the United States. The move will lead to further escalation of the conflict after the two sides have broken negotiations. The conflict began this September, when Nvidia complained to ITC about Qualcomm and Samsung, accusing the two companies of violating their technology patents to improve graphic effects. The company also asked ITC to ban the importation of the latest generation of Galaxy handsets and tablets using the Gaotong graphics processor or Samsung Exynos processor. Samsung launched a patent infringement lawsuit against the Virginia State Raymond Federal Court on November 4 to retaliate against the Nvidia. Samsung accused Nvidia and its clients of violating the company's 8 patents in the case. The lawsuit is aimed at Nvidia's Shield tablet computer. All two companies deny the use of each other's technology. A statement by Nvidia on November 11 said Samsung's lawsuit was entirely predictable. We have not seen any specific complaints, so we are unable to comment. But we would like to continue to promote the previous complaint against Samsung products to ITC. Hector Marinez, the Nvidia spokesman, said in a statement Heckett Marinais. Among Samsung's latest complaints, computer-spare-parts manufacturers such as the company's shares and elite computers have also been targeted. As more and more people use smartphones and tablet computers to play games and watch movies, the importance of GPU is also rising with day. (Ding Macro)
